Journaling exercises for vegans who are struggling with anger.

We, like every other human, get angry and upset at horrible things happening to others. But somehow because we are vegan we get called things like preachy, angry and annoying.

I used to have anger issues and once I went vegan they started to really hold me back. I was miserable and unhappy, not to mention my depression was becoming an even bigger issue than it already was.

I would hate if that were to happen to you. I don’t ever want to see another depressed vegan who is getting bullied because they care about someone else.

I want you to thrive and be joyful. I want you to be happy and amazed at how good one can feel even while knowing about the cruelty other animals are enduring.

That’s why I have here some writing exercises to let your anger out and focus on what is really important – compassionate and loving action.

For this, you will only need a notebook, a pen and alone time.

Write whatever pops on your mind, don’t erase it or think that it should be different. Just write down and express your honest feelings because a lot of times we don’t actually need advice, we just need to let it out.

Are you ready to clean your mind closets?

Use these prompts whenever you need to let something out. They will help you with different things, from learning what you need in this particular moment to what you need to learn to grow as a person.

You don’t need to do them all at once, just pick one or two a day and slowly move through your anger issues regarding the vegan lifestyle. It is all about progress, not perfection.

Journaling can be very helpful, but you need to do it often as it doesn’t work if you don’t actually journal. If you really want to get through these ugly bursts of anger that aren’t fueling you and instead are holding you back from being happy, make a commitment that you will change something.

Journaling can be your first step.
