use your voice to speak up for other animals

Each one of us has a talent that could be used for the greater good.

Maybe you are a natural at learning computer programming or starting and selling companies. Perhaps you are a wonderful songwriter or a passionate photographer with an eye for capturing just the right moment to tell a story.

No one is without talents, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have to work on them and practice every day.

Assuming that you already figured out what you’re good at and that you are regularly honing your skills, let’s see how you use your voice to help other animals.

You don’t need to be an animal rights activist to speak up for those who are ignored. It doesn’t make you any less of a vegan or any less of a fighter for the rights of your fellow individuals.

What I do want is to encourage you to find that sweet spot in between your free time and your career where you can use your talents and skills to do some good in this world.

I realized pretty early on that I may not be the best writer but I know how to put feelings into words and relate to other humans who are going through things that I was experiencing at one point in my life.

Is it a natural talent? Probably not, but it is something that I love doing and I’ve been practising writing for decades before I started using it as a form of activism.

My real natural talent is the ability to learn how to speak a language fluently in a matter of months if I want to. Learning how to speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian was easy for me and I simply don’t understand others who claim that they cannot learn a foreign language even with all the help in the world.

I have an ear for them. I notice the slight difference between the pronunciation from people who live in different parts of Brazil, and I can recognize from which South American or European country the person is just by hearing them say the words muy bien.

So I use my knowledge of languages, and the ability to be somewhat of an average writer that makes a ton of grammatical errors but can relate to people through the words and emotions I use in my content.

Maybe you are similar to me, or maybe you are similar to someone like Ed Winters or Joaquin Phoenix or Leonardo Da Vinci. That sounds like I am comparing myself to them but what I mean to say is that we each have specific talents and abilities that we can use.

What is it that you are good at? How can you use your voice to speak up for other animals?

No need to rush and pretend you have it all figured out. It took me a long, long time before I grew in my self-awareness and realized that I will never be the person I dreamt of being because I thought I wasn’t enough the way I was.

But you do have some knowledge about your capabilities and I hope you use it for good.
