kind natured revolution afrodita vegan

I gifted myself with a few lovely products this winter because I am learning how to be good to myself.

I went with two hand creams and a lip gloss, just to take care of my super pale lips. I already talked about being anaemic since childhood and how this results in me being tired, cold and white as snow. All the time.

No, it’s not because I’m vegan. My body just refuses to accept iron.

You know how much I love moisturizing my hands. Since wintertime is here, my routine has gotten even more obsessed. I go through creams every two weeks, if not less.

My priority when shopping for skincare and beauty products is always that they are vegan and cruelty-free. I also appreciate all three brands are based in Europe. That means delivery is eco-friendlier since the package doesn’t have to travel that far.

Both hand creams smell delicious, but Kind Natured created a sleeping cream which means I use it right before shutting my eyes. It contains coconut milk and cotton which makes my skin soft and hydrated.

Afrodita, on the other hand (no pun intended), hand cream is my go-to throughout the day. I carry it with me when I go out. What I like to do is moisturize right before putting on my gloves. It feels so damn good to have silky skin when I take them off afterwards.

Another ritual I enjoy? Putting on my lip gloss in the shade Sheer Misbehaving by Revolution and feeling girly. I rarely wear makeup and this makes me feel prettier, even if my lashes are natural and my skin is bad.

My goal has always been to value minimalism and that matters to me more and more as I get older. I just want to be free, you know? I think every being wants the same thing.

Minimalism is not about never buying anything, but rather about buying what you need and require.

We invest money, not just spend it.
