a simple life

The older I get, the more I crave stillness and simple life.

I want to soak up the sun, breathe fresh air and spend time with trees and deer. I just got tired of malls and cities. Not that I was ever a big fan of them, but now I really cannot stand them.

My days are filled with walks and mindfulness. I enjoy talking about things that matter and just breathing. Existing.

If you too wish to achieve this state of being – existing – you will love my tips.

We need more calm in our lives. Technology is ruining us and destroying our peace. We are no longer animals but robots.

That is why we must change. Change how we live and interact with nature.

Here is how to live a simple life in 3 steps:

  • Spend more time in nature.

If you want simplicity, nature has to become your home. Go outside and breathe in the fresh air. Soak up the sun and watch the birds. Hike, walk or go cycling. Plant trees and garden. Do anything just make sure you are outside surrounded by greenery.

  • Spend less time on the internet.

We usually talk about staying off social media, but I am challenging you to stay away from the internet in general.

Instead, read or do something else that you forgot how to do because of constant surfing on the net. Not only will you feel better because you are away from the chaotic universe, but you will remember how it feels to be human.

  • Let cosiness guide your choices.

My whole life feels cosy. From the clothes I wear to the books I read and the work I do. Cosy, comfortable and peaceful.

I like that my life feels exactly like an autumnal day does. I just need a cup of warm cappuccino and I am set.

Ask yourself if your life feels comfortable. A lot of people think this is a bad thing but I am the opposite. I want you to feel comfortable, at ease and cosy in your life all day long. It’s the simplest thing you can do to live a simple life.

Let me know in the comment section which of these things you will implement first.

Cherish those moments because the future is bleak and someday there may not be any trees left. It is a sad reality but if we do not do something about it, it will happen soon.

If you feel called to support my work, consider buying me a cup of cappuccino. It helps me greatly.
